About
I'm Professor of General Linguistics in the Universitat de València (Spain). My research focuses specially pragmatics and, in recent years, its application to the field of language impairment. In Pragmática para logopedas ("Pragmatics for speech therapists"), published in 2007, I introduce the basic concepts of pragmatics based on ecological data from aphasia, Williams Syndrome, and ADHD. I'm now interested in the language of right brain damaged speakers, specially in cohesion and coherence aspects.
I'm also the editor-in-chief of "@tic.revista d'innovació educativa" (http://www.uv.es/attic), an educational journal, and coordinate the OCW Office of the Universitat de València (http://www.uv.es/ocw ).
