About
Marisol Lila, Ph.D., is a professor of social psychology at the University of Valencia (Spain). She has published and conducted research on family relationships and communication, risk behavior in adolescence, and parenting styles of socialization. Recently, she is researching on social visibility of domestic violence, and the justice system response to domestic violence (police responses and court mandated batterer programs). She has been training police officers for 15 years at the Public Security Institute of Valencia Community (Spain). She is the director of a Batterer Intervention Program (Programa Contexto) in the University of Valencia http://www.uv.es/contexto. Also, she is associated editor of Psychosocial Intervention http://www.psychosocial-intervention.org
